CAPAS events comprise the academic events such as conferences and lectures as well as science communication events such as the cinema series or public talks.
Central components of the CAPAS academic programme are, on the one hand, the annual conferences and the lecture series. On the other hand, there are smaller, thematically focused workshops, often with shared responsibility for the topic or in close cooperation with individual fellows or further partners. In addition, there are CAPAS-internal events such as opening and closing workshops for the semester.
Science communication events are, on the one hand, classic lecture and discussion events. On the other hand, the focus is on creative and participatory events and formats of science communication in exchange with art. This also includes the Apocalyptic Cinema as a regular series in summer as an open-air cinema in the Mathematikon and in winter in cooperation with Karlstorkino.
