Apocalyptic Cinema 2026
In the summer semester of 2026, we will continue the Apocalyptic Cinema film series in cooperation with the Karlstorkino, focusing on the topics of Migration and Borders.
Beyond political debates and financial costs, what does "the apocalypse" mean for those actually fleeing it? The film series Migration and Borders shifts the focus from systems to individual fates, exploring the personal realities of poverty, terror, and displacement.
Join us from June 19 – July 2, 2026, for four screenings and English-language discussions at Karlstorkino and the Mathematikon (open-air). Experience cinema that looks past the political status quo to the human stories behind the headlines.
