Short Talks Borders Across Disciplines – Four Perspectives

Border narratives, telling stories about borders and across them: the title sounds vague – but that is precisely its strength. Borders, too, resist clear definition: they divide and connect, they mark and blur. Four people, four perspectives, four approaches from different disciplines and regions of the world. Adolfo Mantilla Osornio, Gabi Balcarce, Saulesh Yessenova, and Kayvan Tahmasebian each take around 15 minutes to offer a glimpse into their thinking – open to everyone who is curious. What does a border mean? The answers vary widely.

The event is hosted at the TANKTURM in conjunction with the CAPAS art and photography exhibition “INHABITING CRACKS AT THE END OF TIME – AGAINST ACCELERATIONS.”
