Apocalyptic Cinema
In the winter semester of 2022/23, we invite you to the continuation of the film series Apocalyptic Cinema together with the Karlstorkino Heidelberg. As a special treat, two of the screenings are part of the Ruperto-Carola-Ringvorlesung of Heidelberg University in the winter semester 2022/23 Vom Ende als Anfang. The content-related responsibility lies with the Joint Centre for Advanced Studies Worldmaking from a Global Perspective: A Dialogue with China for this semester, which also coordinates the cooperation with the Apocalyptic Cinema.
Each film evening will be accompanied by a scientific comment on the film in German or English. Afterwards, we invite the audience to a discussion in German and English.
NOTE: The Karlstorkino will be moving to Südstadt from the end of October.
